About Suzanne Faulkner
Suzanne Faulkner, ASID, interior designer and author, has served an outstanding client roster for over 30 years. A pioneer in the concept of residential design consultations, Suzanne believes, "There are no two people who feel exactly the same about color and design, therefore, each environment should be unique."
Suzanne's work has appeared in Los Angeles Times Home Magazine, Better Homes & Gardens, Sunset, and other local, regional and national publications. She is also author of "The L.A. Home Furnishing Decorating and Accesory Buying Guide."
Suzanne sees current trends in interior design. For example, she notes that she is designing more offices within the home. She was among the first in her her field to recognize the importance of computers in life at home. Suzanne is also heavily involved in the planning and execution of kitchens, noting that this is an area where the permanence of the installation requires that the masterplan be the best possible.
"After all," she says,"you might want to replace a chair or sofa in a few years, but very few poeple are going to redo their kitchens again and again."
Whether it be a comprehensive new home installation , remodeling or a basic consultation, Suzanne Faulkner believes that the best way for each individual to achieve his or her desired interiors goal is to work primarily with the principal of the design firm.
